Buyers have significant risk because sellers normally require payment before beginning the seat license transfer. But on the other hand, sellers have significant risk if they wait to collect the money until after the seat license transfer is complete. The time it takes to complete a transaction depends on various factors, including how quickly the buyer sends us payment and how long it takes for the buyer and seller to complete the transfer with the Ticket Office. On average it takes about 4 weeks to complete a transaction from the time the seller accepts the buyer's offer to the time we send payment to the seller.
